STEP is closing down. After more than a decade supporting Scottish teachers in enhancing their professional practice — first as the Association of Chartered Teachers Scotland and, since March 2014, as Scottish Teachers for Enhancing Practice — the organisation held its final AGM in March 2026. The committee wishes to thank every member, speaker, and supporter who contributed to STEP's mission to create an open community of enquiring practitioners and promote reflective practice across Scotland's teaching profession. This website will remain available for a while as an archive of that work.
